Hello I have terminal mouth and neck cancer and this is my 1st message here so have no idea how it works.I would like to speak to anyone who has the same diagnosis as me.Thanks.
Hi. I am so sad to read your first post.
There are a few people here who are in trials as their cancer is deemed incurable but that is probably not quite the same
There is a group for people living with cancer.
You might find that helpful

September 2022 aged 63 diagnosed with HPV associated SCC base of tongue T4 N2 M0. Chemo & radiotherapy for 6 weeks ending Nov 2022. Now over 2 years all clear. See my profile for longer story
To be honest I think my friends and family are more affected by it than me.I've had 2 lots of chemo,96 hours each time,4 more rounds to go.
For me it's all about living with cancer, not dying of cancer, maybe I'm too laid back.
It's comforting to speak to others who have been through or going through the same thing and the links I'm being given are a big help.
Thank you.
Steve

Not at all. That has always been the message from Maggie's
To have such a positive attitude will make what time you have left worth living. I hope you get plenty of it

Thank you Dani for contacting me and sending me a link to browse through.
Hopefully chemo will reduce my cancer,2 rounds done,4 to go,96 hours each time.
It hasn't really sunk in yet how serious it is, friends and family are more affected than me!!
For me it's living with cancer on my mind not dying of cancer.

Hi Cant add much to Dani’s posts. We’ve both lost a good friend recently she too lived with an incurable cancer. Note I used the word lived she kept a positive attitude all the way through which I’m sure helped her ok she had odd moments which is only natural. . We were messaging right up to the end.
Hope you get the same

So good to hear from you.Was diagnosed on the 28th April, support from friends and family has been amazing and now people on here are giving me even more encouragement to kick this evil disease up the you know what!!
Have only had 2 rounds of chemo but feel better than before I started. Was getting absolutely severe headaches but they have all but stopped, maybe 1 or 2 a week now instead of 4 or 5 a day.
Am still unable to swallow solid food but am coming up with lots of weird and wonderful blended meals, may create a cookery book!!
Thank you for contacting me.
Steve.
She did live for years though.
