Hi Dani It wouldn't surprise me mind you I could always argue the point that I was told I had cancer over the phone. I dont know what MDT means ? Thanks Regards Minmax 

Hi In case Dani doesn’t see message until morning. MDT stands for multi disciplinary team meeting. They will have a designated day once a week where they gather and discuss new patients and existing patients  scans. Mine met on a Monday and then I got results a week later. They scans have to be reviewed then discussed. I was 10 days from pet  ct  scan to results.

Thanks Hazel Yes they meet every Friday but I dont know if the team or just the consultant deals with it. I might get in contact with my head nurse in a few days . Thanks for the heads up Regards Minmax

No problem it doesn’t hurt to contact nurse. I use my Macmillann nurse if I need to know anything.
