Well today I go for my pet scan . I got the all clear in may for base of tongue and lymph nodes both sides. Consultant said there was probably swelling showing up in main area as a glow on the screen which he showed me Hence my scan today. So today is a big day and I have my fingers crossed and everything else

Good luck Min. My PET/CT showed an avid spot but that was biopsied and there was nothing there .

Hope all is clear. They are normally fairly quick in reporting PET scans so hopefully the wait will not be too long.

Good luck Min. From what I can gather it’s quite common for treatment effects to show up which then turn out to be benign
