After surgery for cancer of the parotid gland last year and 33 fractions of radiotherapy the cancer has now unfortunately returned to my lungs with 3 lymph nodes and 8 sub centimetre nodes showing at the moment. I have just started Androgen Receptor therapy and have taken 5 of the daily 50mg Bicalutamide tablets and will have my first intramuscular injection of Triptorelin next Thursday. I will then have the injection every 12 weeks and the tablet daily for as long as I am responding to treatment. Has anyone else been in this situation and if so how long have they stayed on AR therapy for? Also what side effects did they have. Thanks
Hi Eldo
I can’t help personally but there is a discussion here that might help with side effects
