Hi all. I am day 10 of partial glossectomy on right lateral mid tongue, 2p size removal and 1cm depth. Only T1. I have no fever, no discharge and speaking better than ever expected but yesterday and today I am very conscious of the area and it feels lumpy and stinging and burning. Ihave no trouble swallowing but tongue hurts then. Chatgpt (I know I shouldn't!) said days 7 to 14 can be peak periods as stitches dissolving and nerves healing as swelling subsides its very sore. Is this anyone else's experience. I seem to be in more discomfort moving tongue now than when it more swollen. But no temp, and no bleeding or nasty saliva.
