Hi,

Due to start treatment on Monday 4th Sept.Just wanted to say thank you for all the advice ,tips etc etc and putting up with my daft questions.There are many more of those to come I'm sure.

Feeling nervous as I have read so many times it ain't the most fun you can have.Have got myself a large notebook and writing "daily task" list.Being by myself I'm sure I'll forget something in the care !

Mostly worried about pain relief but I've heard the radiographers are great when you need to up it.

Any words of encouragement greatly appreciated

Good Luck.....It will be over for Christmas at least. Do you know whether they are targeting just the neck nodes or your throat as well. It would make a huge difference?

I'm getting 6 weeks radiotherapy with the two rounds chemo week one and four.Not looking forward to chemo tomorrowbut heyho.Thanks for getting back to me

It was fine.Closed my eyes and thought of walking through the woods with my dogs.In for chemo tomorrow night.

It was fine over very quickly.Radiographers lovely.First dose of chemo tomorrow not looking forward to that.

It went fine.I suffer from quite severe anxiety and I didn't find it bad at all.Probably takes less than 10 mins.
