It too popped up in one of my feeds.
I used to be a small time runner before I got cancer and when I recovered a little I was keen to get back to a gentle jog just to keep fit but I was worried about keeping my mouth moist while open mouth breathing. I explored all sorts including a back pack hydration unit but it all seemed overwhelmingly impossible. The first time I went out to do just a mile or so I took a water bottle. Imagine my surprise when I found that something at the back of my throat kept the saliva going and I didn't need water. This may be the explanation
Looking at their position it seems that they may not escape irradiating the back of the throat for tonsil cancer but may well survive partly if the RT is targeted somewhere else
