My partner has stage 4 throat cancer which has spread to his lungs and neck bone
He is on medication for liver disease aswell as morphine sulphate for pain and recently zopiclone to help sleep
The last two nights he's had really aggressive jerking in his whole body, really bad night sweats and us shouting out and screaming
Has anyone else experienced this
I try to wake him when it gets really bad but it's very difficult to do this and he gets worse when I do
It almost looks like he's having a seizure at times
Could it be the medications or is this just what it's going to be like
He doesn't remember when he does wake up

Sharon you shouldn’t be dismissed in this fashion. I would phone his CNS and follow it up with an email to her and your consultant’s secretary. Yes, you should phone your GP too. You might get some more immediate help.
You are never a pain. You are dealing with a very difficult and demanding situation.
