Hi all,
I had Radiotherapy back in Febuary this year,for Plasmacytoma on my tougne and behind my nose,well it did not get rid of all the cancer as everyone thought it would so tomorrow I start Chemotherapy, I am only jusy getting my taste back from side effects of the Radiotherapy and now I got to start all over again,I lost three stones in weight so I am concerned about losing anymore but hey ho I got to have Sterroids so maybe I will put on some weight.
They are now treating me for Myeloma even though I haven't got Myeloma yet,they are trying to get ahead of it,which is hard to get my head around being treated for something I haven't got and then after this treatment they are talking about stem cell transplant.
One step at a time, treatmeant starts tomorrow.

Good evening Keavan1, good luck with the chemo, im sure your taste buds will ok this time so hopefully you will not lose anymore weight, as you say one step at a time ,all the best,take care.

Good luck Keavan. You’ll be in good hands. What chemo do they have you on? And have you joined the Myeloma group here? You’ll get some pretty good answers and help there.
