Hi,
Did anyone else have upper back pain, my husband is in terrible pain with his back, he has his first oncology appointment on Monday I hope they can give him something for it.
Our doctor said it is the pressure of the tumour pressing on it.
Hi Vonn
Is Andy on the FLOT system because I was and it was quite tough with many side effects. I had to get the last round of 4 reduced in strength because of bad pins and needles in hands and feet. It seemed to work so maybe you could ask them to do the same.
I had my stomach removed 5 weeks ago and they got all the cancer out which is great news. I see my oncologist consultant next Thursday but it will probably be more chemo to be absolutely sure it's gone.
Wish Andy all the best with the rest of the treatment
Best wishes
Dean
Hi Angie
The waiting for scan results is very stressful, I really hope you get news from the consultant.
I have had 4 rounds of chemo and my op was done Jan 5th so 5 weeks now. They got all the cancer which is great news but will see oncologist consultant next week who will probably say more chemo just to make sure it's all gone.
It's a long tough road so I wish you both all the best during the treatment.
Best wishes
Dean
Hi Vonn,
Everytime we see the consultant we feel it's two steps backwards, the PET scan has shown something in the liver again, we had this after the CT scan so Tony had a MRI with contrast in the liver and they said it was cysts and nothing to worry about. They aren't sure what it is and are sending his scans off for a second opinion. He has to have a laparoscopy now in the next 2 weeks. Today was so disappointing and indecisive.

Oh angie I'm so sorry to hear this !! It's such a worrying time.and now having to wait again dor more results must be so upsetting.
Keep your chin up Angie and stay strong lovely it's a long hard journey but one that we can all fight or support our loved ones through.
Stay Strong
Vonn
Hi Angie
Sorry to hear Tony didn't get good results. I guess they just want to be thorough but totally understand how you both must be feeling. It's awful waiting for results of scans and tests. I've had 4 rounds of chemo and an op which thankfully was successful but for me too the scans were the worst. Not knowing what you are facing must be so stressful.
I wish you both the best for the future
Dean
Hi Angie
Sorry you didn't get better news, it's so frustrating for you both. More tests and more waiting, it's such a worrying time. Try to stay positive (easier said than done I know).
Take care,
Amanda
Morning Vonn
It's so frustrating we was upset again last night, you go from being told they are cysts and nothing to worry about to then not knowing what they are, surely they know what they are looking at on the scans. It's more waiting and worrying now and sometimes I think the consultants forget this and to them you are just another number in a long queue.
I am staying positive but its so hard, sometimes you just want to scream, it is a long hard journey and other people are in the same boat.
Like you say all we can do is stay strong and fight ️
Thanks for listening.

Hi Amanda,
It is frustrating and it's the waiting and worrying that gets to you the most.
I will always stay positive its the only thing that keeps you going.
Hope you are doing ok?
