  • Hi everyone, just introducing myself, I am a 68 yr old male and have just been recently diagnosed, had biopsies CT scan and had a PET scan 3 days ago. I feel I am in limbo just waiting for someone to finally say what the treatment is going to be. Lots of useful information on here thanks.
  • Hi Alarty, yes it is a pain the waiting but they have to get all the ducks lined up before final decisions of treatment MDT team will have to see all your results and decide what is best for you. In the early stage of meeting one of the Oncologists he described one plan but when the final results came through they considered the OC was curable but with a totally different plan of RT and Chemo.

If you do go down my route you will have further consultations and planning, particulaly with the RT planning the site and beam, bear with it a few weeks doesn't effect the outcomes, just to reassure you I am in remission now cured

Take care and come back if you want more help-NO DR GOOGLE !!
