So hello again, I,m Maurice , I was diagnosed end May and will be starting Chemo tomorrow 24th Aug. I,m feeling pretty low right now and convinced treatment has been to long coming.
I am being fed by NG tube and sick of the sight of liquid feed 12 hours a day is too much. Is constant saliver in mouth and a bad taste common with this illness? It's driving me mad. I really don't think I have quiet accepted or realise my situation which bothers me as well. I have opted to be operated on with removal of the cancer and having the stomach reattached higher up the oesophagus,, doctors say I am a good candidate for this but I must stay strong which is where I am failing. I would love to hear from anyone who has had this proceedure and how they got on.
Hope things continue to go well!
Stay Strong x
