Male aged 75, diagnosed 28th may 21. Chemo will start 26th August and will be the first of 4 sessions. I should be worried by the diagnoses maybe even frightened by this but I am not. I don't even think about it and treat it as not a threat but something the doctors will fix perhaps I still haven't accepted the illness. Surgeons plan to operate and remove the cancer and then reattach my stomach to the severed end of the oesphogas.
I am fitted with a NG tube and on liquid feed 12 hours a day, I was told to feed overnight but it makes me feel sick and often wake up choking on copious amounts of slimey saliver stuck in my throat. It would be nice if others who are on liquid feed have similar problems.
