Hello, my husband was informed at endoscopy last Tuesday that he has a tumour in his oesophagus. The tumor was described as almost having a life of its own. For example, it didn't like the scope, it bled when the scope went near it, it's irregular in shape. Biopsy since confirmed. We don't have any other information at present. I wonder if someone could explain the above description and what it might mean please. Thank you

    Hi Ella,

try the ask an expert at the top of this page. You can talk via messages. This would be my next option after a community post. I'm absolutely positive the nurse can give you some answers.

I wish you & your husband my very best.

    Regards,

    Graeme.
