Hi all, just starting my own journey and no doubt will post more as I progress through the labrynth and reach various crossroads. Enough to say at the mo that an edoscopy diagnosed a Squamous Cell Carcinoma and I'm now proceeding through all the usual tests and scans. Second consultation expected sometime next month. Thanks in advance for the creation of this forum and the support and advice you guys will surely give me.
Hello Mercian. Just responding to your post as I was also diagnosed with SCC May 2023. After Chemotherapy, Radiotherapy and a three way Oesophagotomy in October 2023, I am doing well. If there is anything at all that I can help you with during this worrying and stressful time, please come back to me. I wish you luck with your second consultation next month. I am sure you will find comfort and support within this forum. Take care x
Thank you. When I know more about where I am, I'll share more about where I am re staging and possible options.
