It will be a week ago this morning that my beloved David lost his battle with this horrible disease. He was 54.
We had arranged to be married the following day in hospital .. but it just wasn’t to be.
I still cannot believe he’s gone.
Love and strength to all xx
Dear Lulu. So sorry to read your sad post. I hope you have someone to whom you can reach out to and to give you a big hug.
Please take care - will be thinking of you. Julie x
Hi Lulu,
I am so very sorry to hear that another warrior has lost his battle against this cruel disease and at such a young age too. It makes those of us who have been down the curative pathway ever more grateful to have been offered the opportunity. I hope that David’s passing was peaceful and pain-free and, although robbed of your wedding, that you had the opportunity, over the last few months, to spend some happy times together. Best wishes to you for the difficult months ahead. CB
Hi LuluT56,
I am so sorry to hear this. I also lost my partner to this cruel disease 2 weeks ago. I am struggling with my emotions and can’t believe he is not here anymore. He was only 58.
I totally understand how you feel. Look after yourself and always here if you need a chat.
Sending love xx
It hurts so so much doesn’t it.
I fell asleep on the sofa the other night and woke in a panic as to why he wasn’t here. I rushed upstairs to check the bathroom and bedroom.. it was when I opened the bedroom door.. it hit me
Sending you so much love and strength x
