My husband has been told that treatment is to stop as the chemotherapy and antibodies haven't worked and the cancer has spread and grown I'm heartbroken he doesn't no but I have been told we are looking at Mouths how can I get through this I have no family living close by he sleeps most of the time I know I'm were not the first to go through this but how do I prepare to lose the love of my life
Having had the diagnosis , telling me I have cancer frightened me at first, I have gradually come to terms with not having long to live, but my biggest concern is that my family accept that I am leaving them and that they will be alright.
Your love and commitment are obvious, but just remind your husband how much you love him, touch him, just lightly to let him know you care. Tell him that you will be alright, say that it will be difficult, but with your memories to help, it will be OK.
Reassure him, talk about your future, discuss with him any concerns you might have, or he might have.
Enjoy the rest of your time together, my love to you both.
Mike
