Go back 2 months ago I was drastically dropping weight and was struggling to drink water and was being sick when trying to swallow soup. Today after 5 cycles of chemo for the first time I managed to eat solid meal having a whole jacket potato with cheese, to say I am happy would be an understatement the Mrs and I broke down into tears. The battle still continues and I really hope it is working on the inside and killing the cancer . I wanted to post this because I know a lot of you or loved ones will be in the position that I was two months ago and I hope you see the same improvements and that there is potentially light at the end of the tunnel when all seems to be going wrong.
I was classed as stage 4 and inoperable when first diagnosed in september as my lymthnodes in my diaphragm were lit up. Ive since moved to my hometown swindon from London and my new oncologist wants his surgeons to review the original scans and I will be having a CT scan in January. Hopefully my situation changes and the operation becomes an option I am really happy your husband is improving too stalis he must be so happy
Thank you Vinny
It is a rollercoaster of a ride, I often find myself studying him, just to make sure he is ok, (and he is good)
I think you have been really great for this forum, your support of others is so needed.. Thank you for finding the time to do that whilst dealing with your own story.
