Hello, ,my father in law has just been diagnosed with Oesophagus cancer at 71yrs old.
He has been told that because it has spread to the lymph nodes there is no chance of operation (even if chemo/radio therapy shrink it). It has not spread to liver or lungs.
We have been told that we won't know life expectancy until we have seen any results of treatments but have been told that 5yrs is optimistic!!
Please could you tell me if you or your relatives have been in the same position ??
Has chemo and radiotherapy killed the cancer ??
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
