Hi, I had my gastroscopy last Thursday. I had no problem with my throat when I went in. Now, five days later my throat still feels thick and sore. Is this normal?
hi HisJem, i had mine just with the throat spray, this monday 9th, did go back to normal quite quickly, but dont feel myself today, not sure if ive picked up anything. have you been able to contact the upper GI nurses to see what you can take, can see discharge leaflet says to take paracetamol if you have chest pain.
hope it clears up, dont want to go through that procedure any time soon!

Hi, thanks for responding. I had the throat spray too. I did take paracetamol which helped a little, I haven't contacted the GI nurses, I was told someone would contact me but they haven't as yet. There are three different hospital numbers I've been given, no idea which one to call! All the best x
