Good evening to all,

I would like to share my story to date and if I can be of any support to any of you please reach out.

I was diagnosed with Oesophageal cancer in May 2022. My diagnoses was first met with anger, why me? I now think why not me?

The statistics for getting cancer as you probably all know is one in two during your lifetime.

My journey since diagnosis is as follows

  • Started with 4 x FLOT chemo treatments circa 4 hours in duration, pic line fitted for a further two days of pump fed chemo at home
  • One week of rest and we go again
  • Major operation in Dec 2022
  • Post op 4 x more FLOT treatments
  • Blood clot in arm, 6 weeks of injecting stomach 2 x a day to thin blood
  • 25 radiotherapy sessions
  • I have been a fortunate one to come out the other side cancer clear at present for just over one year
  • Lifestyle and eating has been adapted

For all of you who do not have the opportunity to have surgery. or the opportunity to recover, my heart and thoughts will always be with you. if I can support in anyway please reach out.

We are all on a journey in life and  never really know where the journey will take us

Kindest regards
