Just want to give some positive news about my husband's journey.
My husband was diagnosed in December and after unbelievable results from his chemo and immunotherapy, he's gone from stage 4 to stage 2! Today he had a Laparoscopy to discuss the best plans for his operation . His operation will be in the 3rd week of May. Still can't quite believe it . He is still struggling with eating massively. Massive turn around which I could only dream of in December
A little bit of advice from me, make sure he eats like an absolute pig between now and the operation. He will lose a lot afterwards because of the operation and further chemo so he'll need the extra flab to sustain him over the next year or more x
Oh that’s fantastic news !! I’m so pleased for you both ! I had good news yesterday as well all my margins were clear but still have to see oncology to see if they want me to have more chemo ! Tricia xx
I really think I’m the only person who came out of hospital weighing more than I did when I went in !!!!
That’s great news. I must admit I’m not looking forward to the 4th FLOT cycle next week as I seem to have had all the side effects Linda x
Thanks I'll be sure to let him no. He's still struggling massively with eating . He just gets very painful hiccup/ contractions on swallowing.
