In October My husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 oesophageal cancer that spread into liver and is terminal. 2 rounds of brutal chemotherapy and now with immunotherapy. His weight is dropping of him and trying to get an appetite is so hard. He also has chemo tablets in between 3 chemo sessions.
Im devastated.
Yes in the 70s and 80s but not recently ! Comfy bike to tour on though !
I went in the 80s. Suzie Quattro was the star performer. Rod's not been yet. Hoping to get there 2025 We went to Spain on his last Bandit 1200 in 2002, when I was 3 months pregnant. I kept nodding off and needed lots of wee stops. Happy memories xxx
Yes we went in 2019, had an awesome time, we flew over, as hubby does not do boats,,and hired a car, we were there for two weeks, The weather was not brilliant. Great to just walk around the paddock, which was so interesting to hubby as he was an engineer, and we used to own a company making trikes and servicing, repairing motorcycles. We follow the TT every year and subscribe to TTplus to watch the racing live. Peter Hickman fastest man around the TT average 136 mph, just awesome. This year he was on a 137 pace but crashed was so lucky to walk away.
