I had a PEG procedure 3 hours ago at Homerton Hospital in Hackney. No literature or discussions with medical staff prepared me for the very high level of pain I am now in. Talk was of "discomfort". What have been other people's experiences post operation?
Hello Swede,
I hope you do not mind me responding as I had a different kind of cancer to you but am hoping by doing so it will bump your post.
I am sorry that you have had so much pain from your PEG and if this has not settled I would suggest you give your doctor a call to get some reassurance/support.
Hopefully someone who has had a PEG procedure will now see your post and offer some support.
If there is anything else that you need please do ask
Jane
