This morning we arrived at Nottingham city hospital, met the surgeon anesthetist and lots of nurses, True to his word surgeon rang when hubby was in recovery. Said all went well and concentrate on recovery, just sat in a waiting area now for him to be brought to critical care, just need to hold his hand even for a minute. Thank you will keep an update later.
Hi Deb62, my husband was also in Notts hospital 12 weeks ago having his stomach removed, he said everyone was really nice, he didn’t have a problem and was out after 7 days. I wasn’t at the hospital as we live too far away but the surgeon also phoned me up to say everything went well. Good luck to your husband xx
Hi Sue was able to sit with him in critical care for a good hour everyone is so lovely and kept me updated, sorry you lived far away. Obviously he's very groggy but I got a thumbs up. Booked in for visit tomorrow hopefully they might move him on to ward fingers crossed. Hope all goes well for you both too.
