Hallucinations

I don't have any experience of this but from what I've read about steroids and my medical knowledge it's certainly a possibility.I would suggest you contact your GP/ pharmacist and describe your symptoms as they may be able to offer something to counter-act your symptoms

Thankyou,  I mentioned it to my team , they are talking about increasing my steroids. Which I'm not really happy with as I'm on 1.5mg of dexamethasone and was due to come off next week. I've been on them for 16 months and what they have done to my body, I've had enough. Just quality of life is crap. I have been put on pregablin though and have increased that, so possibly that might have something to do with it. Thanks for your message. Hope you're okay yourself.

nice to hear from you again. Sorry to hear that things have been a bit up and down.

I was relieved to read that you've spoken to your medical team about how you are feeling. I get that you don't want to increase the steroid dose. Dex is a miracle drug and an horrible drug all at the same time. G was on varying doses throughout his journey. That dose was sometimes lowered, sometimes increased and sometimes stopped altogether. Just because they want to increase it a tad just now doesn't mean it will always need to be at that level so try it and see if it helps. If it doesn't then ask to reduce it again. It might also help with the energy levels.

As for talking to yourself...I do that on a good day!

Hi Chris, 

My father in law, had hallucinations recently with post-treatment Edema. His hallucinations events were from when he was a child at school. They were quite intense in the hospital, but they stopped when the steroids were increased. 
I hope you are doing alright.
