I have had 3 surgeries for my glioblastoma and have been on dex. steroids for 3 years. My last bebulking was March 1 2023 and i am now tapering off slowly. I have now reached 1mg and am experiencing nausea, fatigue dizziness, weakness and loss of appetite . This has been for 5 days...... How long should I persist at 1mg. Janette

Sorry to hear about the symptoms you are experiencing. Can I suggest that you call your medical team to discuss these as they are the ones best placed to advise?
My husband was diagnosed GBM in Sept 2020 and in March of this year went back onto dex. The hospice nurse suggested starting to reduce his dose from 4mg to 2mg after 12 weeks. He coped ok on the lower dose for a week then his symptoms worsened quite quickly. They put the dose back up and so far so good. Sometimes the body knows better here.
