Hi,
Im 22 year old female, and i had ultrasound done month ago, which showed that wall of my gallbladder is thickened up to 8mm.
I dont have any stones, and nothing more, my liver etc and blood work is fine. I have been taking pills now for a month, because my chirurg said it could be bile on my wall, and i have been taking pills to move it, but I still have pain for example when I eat maybe too much at evening, it wakes me up at night, but i also have some stomach problems... My question is, could that be caused by cancer? Im having real anxiety about my health, and if anyone could give me some answers I would really be grateful.
Hi aaga and a very warm welcome to the online community which I hope you'll find is both an informative and supportive place to be.
I'm sorry to read about the pain you're in and it's natural to jump to the worse case scenario, ie that you have cancer.
None of us who use this community are health professionals so we can't diagnose you. If your symptoms are getting worse, or don't go after you've taken the course of medication that you've been prescribed, then you should see your GP again.
No matter what happens symptom wise, I think you should speak to your GP about getting help with your health anxiety as that can also cause physical symptoms.
Wishing you all the best
