When my mum was in A&E the doctors did a ultra scan from side to side of my mum's stomach, on the scan I saw two white spots. They were more interested in a black line going straight across the screen, I couldn't hear what they were saying. Does anyone know what cancer looks like on a ultra scan, does it look like white spots? The only way I can describe them is 6 years ago my mum was diagnoised gallstones, I saw the ultra sound scan, it looked tiny little white dots, like looking at the clear night sky. In the scan on my mums stomach in the ward, the two white large spots looked the same, just a LOT bigger, like it was something solid in her stomach.
Hi CyberFlower
I can't answer your question because I didn't look at the ultrasound scan when I had it done but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet.
This would be a good question to post in the ask a nurse section of the online community and one of the specialist cancer nurses will aim to respond within 3 working days. If this is something that you'd like to do clicking on the link I've created will take you straight there.
