Hi, am new here, I have lots of things apparently  :( Follicle Lymphoma its called and its Stage 4A, it has moved already to my Spleen, my stomach, my skin and my muscles...am on my own in the world, my 3 children do not want to do something with me, one of them wished me dead, am my Family sadly not better,.. my partner ,well at points he is taking it all well and cry with me and then he fights with me over just stupid things like cleaning or money, I still work, wash, clean, train on top my Horses and help others with theirs, even though am on my toes literally..

am still raving ,..literally,..Music helps me a lot to cope with all this bullshit, I found myself a lot in asking why always me,..if some would read my story ...welll they would died ages ago, lol

But am here, fighting as always,..am a witch ,..Grenn witch...so I do fight against it with turkey tail mushroom powder in my coffee or cacao, drink artemisia annual Tea, Dandelion Tea.

when I go raving I fell alive, surrounded by people who as well as me ,..like Music ,express themselves in it and just live life...

Anything is Possible-we just need to believe in it !!

  • Hi  and a warm welcome to you.

I have lived with and been treated for two types of rare T-Cell Non Hodgkin’s Lymphomas for over 25 years so I know this journey well. I was when I was 44 and I turn 70 at the end of the year and I am still here living a great life.

The Staging in Lymphoma is rather different from solid tumour cancers like Kidney, Lung, Breast….. where a high stage number like stage 4 is a poor prognosis, in Lymphoma it’s not. I was stage 4a back in 2013 and it made no difference to my outcomes.

    Staging in Lymphomas identifies…..

    1) Where the Lymphoma is presenting in the body (it can be anywhere)

    2) What is the best treatment approach and best treatment type for your presentation

    3) How long your treatment needs to be.

  • I would also add that you are most certainly not all on in this journey.

This community is always here for you.

The Macmillan Support Line is open between 8am-8pm (timings may differ across services) 7 days a week on 0808 808 00 00…… this service provides cancer information, practical information, emotional support, benefits/financial/work guidance or just a listening ear.

Talking to people ‘face to face’ can be very helpful so do check to see if you have any Local Macmillan Support in your area, do also check for a local Maggie's Centre as these folks are amazing.
