Hello, I was diagnosed in May, and have had 6 doses of OCHOP treatment. My condition has improved but I've also had 1 dose of maintenance treatment which I'll have regularly for the next 2 years.

  • Hi  and a warm welcome to this corner of the Community although I am always sorry to see folks joining us. I am Mike and I help out around our various Lymphoma groups.

I don’t have Follicular Lymphoma but I was diagnosed way back in 1999 at 43 with another type of (rare) incurable but treatable type of Low-grade non-Hodgkin lymphoma eventually reaching Stage 4a in late 2013 so although my Lymphoma ‘type’ is different I do appreciate the challenges of this journey rather well.

There have been a few group members been through this specific treatment (I had the more aggressive big brother R-EPOCH) and went on to have the 2 years Maintenance therapy (maintenance therapy was not an option for me so I had to go straight to Stem Cell Transplant - see my story below)

Let's look for some of the group members who have walked this path to pick up on your post. You can also look through the various posts (hit the main group name and scroll down) and as always you can hit reply and ask some questions and see if the member is looking in.

Always around to help more or just to chat
