Hi all..
Went to my Doc to show her that my Lymphoedema was acting up...the swelling usually goes down after a couple of days, but it's been 4 weeks now and swelling hasn't budged, so she sent a referral to Hematology to speed up the next visit...
I talked with one of the team and voiced my concerns, so they said yes to doing a full body scan to try and discover why I was having problems.. nothing showed up in my blood..
Fast forward a week and I get an unexpected call from hematology...they want me in
The lead Doc was there and was concerned about my leg...so he sent me off to get an ultrasound of the veins and arteries in my leg.
The guy was nice and glad I'm not shy as I had to undress from the waist down and ppl kept coming into the room!
Happy to say there was no sign of blockage if blood clots
So the next thing is to get the CT-Ntap and see why I'm in so much pain
The Doc did mention if the cancer was back it might be too early to treat it and I guess we will see...
I hope everyone here is as well as can be..️
Hi TKjedi oh the journey can be full of twists and turns….. but good that no blood clots were found.
Let’s see what the CT finds, from my long experience with multiple relapses with my type of NHL there have sl and been a tool to get things under control.
