Greetings. I finished my RCHOP 3 weeks ago and I am wondering about symptoms. Besides feeling exhausted after around 15 minutes of activity I am having stomach pain. It almost feels as though my stomach area is full of play dough, its difficult to explain the feeling. I researched but haven't found what are the chemo drugs doing to my body if there is not much or any cancer left to destroy? (my pet scan isn't for another 2 weeks) Anyone understand this feeling? Thanks
Hi, yes I had the uncontrollable fatigue but nothing much else.
I did develop Helicobacter Pylori, a bacteria that developed ulcers and stomach inflammation...... with a lot of pain. I think that was just at the end of cycle 2 or 3. Up until this time I was doing ok with eating - even hospital food!! The 3 pack antibiotics I was given for the HP were horrendous and put me in bed for a week.
I didn't think about it but I guess it would be worth letting my doctor know about this symptom. Thanks Mike
I would always call things in just in case.
