I have waited over two weeks for an MRI result, is this the average?
Hi 1977A welcome to the forum.and sorry to hear how concerned that you are. Personally I wonder if you have answered your own question when you say your consultant is to do with oncology. Sometimes, not always, the two words Cancer services and Oncology can get used together when they mean the same thing if that makes sense. I think the best advice I could offer is to try calling the hospital again and speaking to them to clarify the words and give you some reassurance. I hope that you get some answers. Best wishes Gail x
Hi Gail, thank you for your answer. I realise that my consultant is investigating liver cancer for me, I guess you're right, it must have been what the radiologist meant. I think I'll just continue to wait. There must be some reason for the delay which I suppose I will discover when they get around to telling me. Kindest regards, from 1977A.
