i am not going to relate the whole saga here but basically i need both a vitrectomy and a cataract removed on my OM eye so that the hospital can see in to check my tumour.
I rang yesterday to check waiting times - the specialist ( a retinologist not an ocular oncologist ) is only now starting to see people referred in January (who will not be cancer patients).
Has anyone else had a long wait for these treatments?
Having not had either of these procedures myself I can't help with how long you should have to wait, but I noticed that your post hadn't had any replies yet. Responding to you will 'bump' your post back to the top of the discussion list where it'll hopefully be seen by someone who can help.
