Half way scan

Hi Kaz mine wasn’t all gone at the halfway stage  it had shrunk more than half, try not to worry at the half way stage everyone is different mine was a bulky mass ( all clear now ) as long as there is some improvement then that’s good news

That’s amazing you’re all clear what a positive reply thank you. Anxious for the results but feeling really positive thank you, good to know not to fret if it’s not clear. As long as it’s reducing we’ll be happy. 

Hi Kaz o and welcome to the group.

I had the big brother of R-CHOP……. R-EPOCH for my two rare types of T-Cell NHL……. and I never had a half way scan. 

My consultant said that there was no point as we could actually see the brick sized mass in my neck slowly disappearing……. don’t over think this.

These treatments are very effective but if there is a slow down in how the treatment is performing things can be done and It’s not that unusual for folks to have a few sessions of radiotherapy to spot clear and small areas as a belt and braces approach.
