I am helping a friend who was diagnosed with triple hit high grade b cell non Hodgkin's lymphoma on April 7th if this year. She is about to do her third round of chemo. 5 days of 24 he chemo. I've looked up everything I can on this . There isn't much info this is the only other thing I can do. I need to know what to expect or anything any good news to share with her to keep her positive. Hopefully someone here can help with this. To me she's doing great I mean she is kicking butt. I've been around a lot of people who had stage 4 and she is just so strong. Everyone I knew put up a fight a fight till the end with all they had. Amy information would so be appreciated. Thanks

  • Hi  and welcome across to this corner of the Community. Sorry to hear about your friend but it’s great that you are doing your best to support her.

I am Mike  and I help out around our blood cancer groups. I was diagnosed back in 1999 with a rare type of skin NHL, yes I have had a bumpy journey but still around doing great.

This link will take you to some info on the Lymphoma Action site about triple hit https://lymphoma-action.org.uk/types-lymphoma/grey-zone-lymphoma-double-hit-lymphoma-triple-hit-lymphoma-and-high-grade-b-cell

We have had a few members through the Community with triple hit so let’s see if they are still looking in and you can use the search tool Mag near the top to search triple hit and look at the posts then you can hit reply and see if the folks are still looking in.

The treatments used for NHL on the whole do the same thing but the mix of the drugs are tailored to suit how each cancer is presenting.

I was on R-EPOCH (hit my name for my story) and was, as with your friend in hospital for 5 days on the treatment 24/7 for 6 cycles and on the whole did ok.

Happy to answers and question to help you help her.
