As the title says a thank you to the people who dedicate their time to posting info on this forum.
I was diagnoses with Diffuse large B-cell lymphoma back in March
Last PET scan end of August while showing there is still a bit of the mas left there are no active cells remaining so I'm very happy.
While I had not posted up till now I have found the answers I needed to my questions looking back through the various threads,
Once again folks thank you for your efforts it is worthwhile
Hi Garfields, great to hear your positive news and for us all who pass through the site it’s the news that everyone loves to see.
Its excellent that you have found the group supportive without even having to post, I would class this as a result.
Do drop in past again as there will always be someone standing at the starting point just like we all were, looking for encouraging words to help make the journey that more manageable.

Hi Mike
I do intend to keep an eye on the site and will pass on any encouragement I can
It was all a big learning experience
My treatment was with R Chop and didn't have a lot of side effects overall compared to what some people experience. A few people have asked how I found the treatment and the only thing I have cane up with is tedious.
I feel my wife and friends probably were more stressed than I was if that makes any sense?
That’s great that you will drop in past. I will always say the journey can be just as hard if not harder for those looking on.
Mike
Just a short update hopefully to encourage others.
One year in since last chemo.
Got a check up next month but feeling fine overall.
A small extra plus I spoke to my travel insurance company last week and they have advised that as I am a year since last treatment there is no loading on the premiums. Not planning anything soon due to covid but it's another tick on the list if that makes sense. 2022 may be a possibility though.
Just happy to be in a position to start making longer term plans
Great update and let’s look forward to be able to get some holidays in next year.
