Hello, I am new here. I care for my husband who has numerous complaints but in the midst of it all has been diagnosed with SLL. Mild at the moment, Stage 2, but it's very new and a bit worrying as I dont really know what to look for if anything is wrong. Many thanks.

Thankyou very much for your help. It's all so new and I know there shouldn't be anything hopefully to worry about, but theres always just the smallest of risks, which mean looking over ones shoulder still. Thankyou so much.

Thankyou for your information. Please can you advise as to what to do. We have had our Thoracoscopy cancelled, and my John is very short of breath and losing weight fast. He wants to wait, but I dont know whether to mention the weight loss or not. Thanks.

  • If my wife was in the same position - and she has been on a number of occasions..... she would call ALL the Medical Professionals phone numbers (Clinic, Hospital, Specialist Nurse, GP) everyday until she got to talk to someone who will listen to all the challenges and this is what you need to do for John.

You have to clearly inform them about everything he is facing including his weight lose and requests a plan with dates to find out what is going on. Unfortunately we sometimes have to be our own or someone’s advocate getting our pointy elbows into the system ((hugs))
