Hi everyone I have CLL I was diagnosed in 2020. I have had chemo and targeted therpy and now back on 'watch and wait'at my last appointment I was told I hadand enlarged lymph node in my neck just above my collarbone. Very recently I've had quite afew what looked like insect bites on my skin, theitch is unbearable, I've been thinking I had bedbugs (so embarrassed) but I have had someone in and there isn't any signs. I am wondering if this could be a form of skin lymphoma I am currently too scared to talk to my family about this.
Hi againKH1964 you need to get this checked out…. The skin can very reactive during and post treatment and this can result in various skin issues….. so talk with your GP or consultant.
Is it possible to develop skin Lumphoma….. or even a second cancer like skin cancer - well yes.
I have lived with skin (Cutaneous T-Cell NHL) Lymphoma for over 25 years….. back when in late 2013 I developed a second more aggressive High-Grade NHL….. so anything can happen.
But I have to say that skin Lymphomas are about 8 in a million rare.
I will try to contact my oncologist on Monday thank you for your advice
