Hi my 25yr old daughter has recently been diagnosed with CLL, she’s just been told by hospital, there is nothing more they can do for her, she has tumours that are appearing in most of her organs i.e brain, both lungs, bowels and kidney and the only thing they can do is try to find clinical trials for her, the way the nhs is I’m not waiting and I’m desperate on a recommended trial that may hopefully save her life. Please can someone help I’m really struggling with the possibility of loosing my baby, she has twins who are 3 and a 10 week old baby that need their mommy

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. It might be a good idea to ring the Macmillan helpline on 0808 808 00 00 to talk to someone about your daughter and they may be able to advise you on any Clinical Trials that might be suitable for your daughter. In Heamatology terms CLL is seen in the same light as Low-Grade Non Hodgkins Lymohomas - yes very confusing…… so Lymphoma Action cover CLL.
