Hi there, worry not, this is routine for anyone with CLL.
The CT scan looks for enlarged lymph glands and or an enlarged spleen..
The. bone marrow test biopsy looks for how packed the marrow is due to too many white blood cells.
These tests, sometimes with a FISH test, help the doctors to fully investigate the course of the CLL, and give the patient some idea of if, or when, any treatment might be required.
I have had all these tests and it is normal.
Luckily our CLL is a treatable disease now , with at least 8 drugs available for treatment.
I just take a pill twice a day, and now lead a normal life.
Good luck.
CLL diagnosed in 2005, and in 2022 started taking a BTKi drug.
