Newly diagnosed

Hi Henz and welcome to our group.

It’s always scary when you are first diagnosed, so I’m sure we can all sympathise with how you’re feeling.

Are you able to share a little of what has brought you here? What tests you are having/have had, what type of cervical cancer, and what treatment is likely?

This will enable us to help support you better. We have experience in the group of different types and stages of cervical cancer and also of the treatments involved.

Please stick with us and I’m sure you’ll find it helpful for you to chat to people here who can understand how this feels.

Hi Henz  welcome, I too myself am newly diagnosed since 1st November , last week I’ve had mri and pet scan last Tuesday and Friday and this coming Monday I will get my stage and treatment plan . The wait is awful .

I’m not much of a writer on this forum but find it helpful and all the ladies are so kind and zero judgement is given.
