Hi All,
I am new to this. I was diagnosed with cervical cancer 10 days ago, although it seems like a lifetime already. I have had biopsies done and I am due for a pet scan then we will discuss treatment. They said its at least stage 3 and is locally advanced.
Hi Lizzib and welcome to our group.
Every day seems to last forever at this stage while you’re waiting for more info, doesn’t it? Once you get scan results and a treatment plan, things move a bit quicker and are easier to manage I think.
I was originally diagnosed at stage 2b, so also locally advanced, and went through chemo and radiotherapy as my first line of treatment, as many of us in the group have done.
Please keep us posted when you get your results and plan, and there will be plenty support for you in the group.
Sarah xx
