Good morning guys,

I received my diagnosis yesterday of cervical cancer, adenocarcinoma stage 2B

Consultant said I won't be able to have surgery so will be having chemoradiation and possibly brachytherapy.

My nurse is hopefully going to ring me today with an appointment to meet my oncologist next week.

Be interested to talk to any ladies fighting this same battle. I'm feeling quite calm now I know my staging etc although it all feels a little unreal right now.

Sending love and strength to everyone else fighting cancer Heart️

    Hi there,

I was diagnosed with stage 3c cervical cancer back in jan as some of the cancer cells had broken off into the surrounding tissue and lymph nodes. I’ve just finished the same treatment including the brachytherapy.  The actual brachytherapy was ok but I had some sort of weird reaction to my leg after the anaesthesia wore off but once that was under control with muscle relaxants ( pain meds didn’t touch it) I was ok. Now it’s just the wait to see if it has all worked.
I too, still have issues with my bowels after treatment but it really also Depends on what I eat .
    hope it all goes well
