Hey,
I had my smear test around 3 weeks ago, I haven’t received my results but I have today (Saturday) received an email and letter confirming my colposcopy for a few days time.
Annoyingly with it being a weekend I can’t access my results, but a colposcopy booked in so soon seems concerning.
Anyone else received a hospital appointment so fast without knowing results??
Hi EmmaB123 and welcome to our group.
It’s very frustrating to get an appointment letter without knowing your results, isn’t it? Especially at the weekend.
Sorry, I haven’t been this happen to be as I went through a different experience but hopefully you’ll receive replies if anyone else has had similar happen to them.
It’s a good thing to have your appointment booked in quickly as you’ll have answers sooner, but I understand it must be a worry for you at the moment.
I just wanted to welcome you to our group so that you know your post has been read, and hopefully you’ll hear from some of our other members by me bumping your post.
Sarah xx
