Profile Information

Morning ladies

I wanted to mention profile information today. I didn’t complete mine for a long time as I didn’t want to scare anyone, but had to do this when I became a community champ. Now I see it as a really positive thing to do.

It’s actually really useful to complete this, as it lets others see what diagnosis and treatment you’ve had and saves you repeating information on multiple posts when you answer questions. I appreciate that some people for their own reasons may not want to complete this but, for anyone who does, simply click on your name and there will be a button which allows you to add and edit information about yourself. You can add as much or as little as you’re comfortable with, and people can then see at a glance what stage you are at in the process by clicking on your name.

I’d encourage you to do this if you haven’t already, and just thought I’d mention this today particularly for anyone new to the group who is just finding their way around the community.

It’s a lovely spring day here today and lovely to see the sun. Hope everyone will enjoy a nice relaxing Sunday, and is doing as well as they can be.

  • Hi Sarah

Jut thought I'd answer your post to bring it back to the top of the threads - I agree it is so important to fill in our bios so everyone can see how we came to find ourselves using a social media forum (In my case for the first time) to find genuine support from people who find themselves in a strange scary place.

Well done you, hugs, Barb xx

  • Hi Barb

Thank you! It does make it easier to see where everyone's at in the process, so it’s very useful for everyone to find out a little bit more about why we’re all here.
