Hi All
Hoping to find someone who’s had a similar diagnosis and any advice. Having had bilateral BC in 2015 aged 46 and lumpectomy chemo and radio plus tamoxifen in November I found a rash and inflammation in my left breast and after delayed mistaken as mastitis has come back as breast cancer cells in the skin. My original hospital said they’ve never seen it so have been referred to Royal Devon. It’s not even a drop down on this website to add as a topic.
CT and Body MRI scans all clear bur grappling f with what questions I should be asking in terms of treatment and prognosis. Waiting for bone scan and breast MRI and further wider biopsies around breast.
has anyone else had just skin mets? And if yes what treatments - I am due a mastectomy in a couple of weeks currently with a question on chemo vs EC chemo. Dr Google is very frightening on survival statistics and looking for a glimmer of hope or guidance. Thanks to anyone who can help as I reel from this news. YCS x
