Hi
I was diagnosed in Feb 2022 with 3cm ER tumour in left breast and 2 x 2cm tumours one in my sentinel lymph node and another in the one next to it. After my ct I had developed PE s in both lungs so treatment was delayed till June. Plus a suspected legion was found on my 8th left rib. A mastectomy followed plus 9 lymph nodes removed then chemo EC which I had reactions to it took them so long to restart me my hair grew back! Then 4 rounds of docetaxel again I reacted I had to have reversal drugs with each dose and a lowered dose. Following the chemo I had 3 weeks of radiotherapy. Then a few months on from that I had most of my rib removed which was really painful as they went in from the front through my mastecomy and lymph node tissue which is still painful but I was so relieved when the results cam back benign! The problem is I have so much pain at the moment in my thoracic spine it's painful to even touch! I've been to A&E as I experienced terrible chest pain radiating up into my throat and through my back my gp wouldn't give me my flu jab told me to go! My oncologist has organised another bone scan it's been over 6 months since I've had one. I have problems with arthritis in my spine and have disc issues already as well which don't help but this time the pain is different it hurts when I lie down which normally makes it feel better! Plus when it throbs it radiates through my back and feels like I've swallowed a huge chip in the middle of my chest I don't know. I'm taking maximum co codamol and I'm under the pain clinic I already have injections in my neck and gabapentin A&E said Tramadol but I was on that once before I'm not sure other than buprenorphine I don't know? I'm just worried really I know my scan is on rapid access.
Hi LabradorMad
It sounds like you're going through a really tough time and I hope the pain clinic can get everything under control quickly.
((hugs))
