After having my injections for first time yesterday which appeared fine and pretty painless.
When I went to bed I really did feel like I had been kicked by a horse, but the worse after effect is the smell. Sorry to mention it but has anyone else noticed a very strong and unusual body odour after the jabs and if they have, how long does it last for?
Hi , sorry to hear that the injections affected you after all.
I searched the site using the search bar and couldn't find anyone who has posted about the body odour you mentioned. The only reference to smell I could find was re urine which might indicate a urine infection. It was HERE on the MacMillan site.
I would contact your doctor and see what they say about it as it doesn't seem like anyone on this forum knows. I wouldn't have though that a strange body odour on it's own would be a sign of concern, it might just be your body sweating out the chemicals but I'm just guessing so do talk to your doctor.
